Welcome to my Hilton Head Island Real Estate site. Hilton Head is the second largest barrier island
on the east coast. 12 miles long and 5 miles wide at it's widest point, the island resembles a shoe with
Hilton Head Plantation being on the "heel" and Sea Pines Plantation being on the "toe."
A "plantation" on Hilton Head Island is another word for a planned community with strict covenants
and controlled access. Some are resort communities and some are completely private, with entry gained only as a property owner or owner guest.
